Help!
I bought a 340 that has a garmin 7600 series gps.
Can anyone tell me what chips I need for auto guidance?
I have 2 slots for chips, but no chips installed. When I plot a course it takes me across land. I can adjust the course to avoid land, but I shouldn’t have to.
I’m on the Chesapeake Bay and my wife is getting pissed at me thinking I should know this.
Previously we had a 498 series that did all that.

If I understand this link correctly https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=CTvlWm5UDX7WpRGSfHxEP7 you need to have the updated g3 charts. Auto guidance "doesn't work" on g2 charts.
