- Currently twin 150s, thinking of upping to single 300 4 stroke
I'm hoping to pick up a new to me 1995 Laguna 24 Cuddy this weekend. I know one of the 150s is bad, so already coming up ideas to replace that, or just firepower with a 300 4 stroke... will be using the boat for salmon fishing on Lake Michigan so no real long runs like in saltwater. I want to find a fiberglass hardtop for it. My cousin is a welder so I'm sure I can modify the frame if I can find a used one in a scrap yard. Just wondering if anyone else has done this and what I should watch out for?
