Hello. My wife and I have our 320DA on Lake Allatoona in Georgia. The lake levels are getting down to the "danger zone".... and the admiral and I fear that if we don't move the boat; we'll be stuck come spring.

So - my question... Portman Marina is full with a huge waiting list. Harbor Light Marina (at the SC/GA line) has several 45ft covered slips available.

Is anyone familiar with Harbor Light? The admiral and I may try to make a visit tomorrow to take a look. Their website looks nice; but we all know how the pics can be misleading.

Thanks for any feedback!

RC, I crossed Lake Hartwell at 85N this past week and although the marina does look nice, their lake is very low too. Seems like a long ride if you live around Allatoona. Good luck.

Whimsea - Thanks for the reply! The admiral and I actually live in Buford, GA - we have plans to move further into Atlanta (thus the reason for being up on Allatoona).... Based on the lake levels, we have no idea what to do now! Sounds like the governor may sign the bill to "stop the spigots" on the dam this week. That will definitely help...... I think we've decided just to sit tight and ride it out.....

You obviuosly needed the rain from the past two years of hurricanes that didn't happen. I hope you get some rain soon!
