H20 Hurley - Well it’s official... I caved

Looks awesome. Did your bolts manage to miss the vent on the strbrd side? Mine had to have AL angle added to support the vent/extension. But that's just generally my luck :)
I had one bolt go through the vent, so I will come back later with a more beefy undermount to make sure that it's supported well. I figured 1 out of 8 was Ok for now. The 4 most aft bolts were right through a reinforced part of the platform, so I feel pretty good about the strength of those.

Yeah...unfortunately the more forward line of bolts are getting all of the "lift" when you start taking chop with the dink on. If you're down a bolt on that row at least make sure you strap the living heck out of the dink :):)

This is what my guy did:

Any concerns about dis-similar metals with that? I assume you used stainless bolts/nuts/fender washers, not sure if it will react negatively with the Aluminum angle bracket or not. That's what I had envisioned for the one that went through the vent, so thanks for including a pic of it.

Muskrats! Those little suckers will move in in a matter of days if I don't stuff the fenders in as soon as I get back. Hurley does sell critter guards that I'm considering installing, they are better looking than old nasty fenders.
I have the Hurley Muskrat guards, well worth the peace of mind.

Well I never thought about that :) No clue if my guy changed up the type of bolt for that one connection. I suppose I could ask him.
