Well so much for Bahamas for a while. Friday they go back to testing everyone even if you have the vax. Just not worth the hassle right now with 3 hour wait times to get tested
Yes thank god!!! I was planning on going the 27th for another weekend trip but having second thoughts with all the BS going on. Might just do a mid Sept run to Chub Cay for an extended weekend stay as being locked down there is OK by me.Wow - you did your big trip just in time! Looks like vaccinated people can get away with a rapid - im supposed to be in Hollywood now, but my son ended up with covid and my wife (whos down there too) has been testing quite a bit and hasn't had to wait long....
I was wondering if you thought a 180 bowrider can do this trip?Hello everyone. While planning for our trip to Bimini in May, I was asked to put together a fact sheet for boaters looking to visit the Bahamas. I put this document together from my own experiences, help from my fellow boaters and information available on the internet. This Guideline is available on a MS Word format or pdf, just shoot me a PM and I'll be happy to send you the latest version. My hope is to update this Guideline as things change so it will be a resource for everyone. The Guideline is not geared specifically to certain locations, just the process and procedures for making a safe crossing. Feel free to provide additional information any time.
Yeah I am a new boater this is my first boat and its old so I am like nah and if I was younger I would go further out lolI was absolutely considering in, my boat qualifies length wise at 26' with the swim platform, but I still dont know if I would attempt it at my age in this boat, when I was younger, hell yea I would have.
