Guidance for Lake Conroe

I am looking to spend a day (Friday) on Lake Conroe with our Sundeck 240. I am looking for any guidance on where to:

1) launch
2) tubing with the kids
3) stay away from
4) any other guidance.

We will be coming up from I-45 in the Clear Lake area.
