Over the last ten hours on the motor my trim guage mysteriously stuck to the fully upright position. This was while the drive was trimmed down and we were at about 25 knots, tac is goes a little crazy everynow and then (have to tap the tac to get it back on track), and my oil pressure guage seems to be sticking at times..

Does this sound like it could be all connected, or just guages all goin out one at a time?

Humidity will wreak havoc with analog guages. I see you're in Florida... just sayin'. I have a tach that will stick as well on humid days and have to tap for it to recover. That'd be my guess as too many individual systems to be a connected issue.

Try turning on your nav/instrument lights when it happens. It will help dry out the guages.

Power trim indicator showing up when drive is down is often a sign that the trim sending unit has lost connection with the trim gauge. The two causes of that are trim sending unit is shot (most common) or corrosion at the plug where the sending unit connects to the main boat harness (not as common).

If you mean the oil pressure gauge continues to show positive pressure when the engine is off, then you do have a sticky gauge. If you mean gauge shows no pressure when engine is running, then it could be a bad oil pressure sender, or worse faulty oil pump or damaged journal bearing. If it is the latter case get the engine checked ASAP by a technician who can put a mechanical gauge on it and insure the is ok. If it is a bad oil pump, or excessive bearing wear continued operation could be fatal to the engine.

I used to have a Crownline and every time I took it north of Dubuque on the Mississippi, the depth gauge would go haywire and give crazy readings. Otherwise it was fine. Figure that one out.
