I am having an issue on the boat with the grounding system. Looking for some advise. I am planning to go to each connection and clean them up. I was going to underscrew, clean up the nuts and washers and use a metal brush on the connection to the wire. Not sure if these are plated and don't want to do any damage. Should I use something like a dialectric grease after to protect the connection, if not what should I use?

Any help is appreciated here!

An old stiff toothbrush and some electrical connection cleaner is what I use for the connectors.
I usually throw my old toothbrush in my toolbox when I replace it with a new one.
If the end of the wire itself is nasty I usually just clip back to clean copper and put a new connector on the end.

It'll clean up corrosion for the most part, if you can't reach it. If you can reach it, clean it up and spray it on once reassembled. It is some amazing stuff!

I used it on a rusty ground bar, 2 boats ago (ex saltwater use).
