A member of my boat club recently bought a 2007 340DA that was ordered to be on Lake Tahoe so it came with a grey water holding tank. Has anyone updated their grey water tank to discharge through the hull or have bypassed the holding tank to directly discharge via a through hull? Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I did that on my 268 four winns, it was a great upgrade and worth every penny of it.
Each piece was different.... some i was able to combine with a scupper near by, or by adding a check valve and T i combined my shower sump with my forward bilge.... i only took one through a new OB drain (that i drilled) and it was the bathroom sink..... Took a little investigating but def something worth doing.... that gave me additional storage when i removed the grey tank

good luck!

With my luck on shower sumps I'd install a dedicated pump-out for the gray water tank vs utilizing any of your sumps. I deal with enough garbage in my sumps from showering (mostly the admiral :)), I can't imagine dealing with sink junk too!

Do you have easy access to the grey water tank? If so you could install a macerator style pump directly to the tank and then run a single thru-hull nearby. Sub $200 project, clean install, will not compromise your existing setup and can be easily reversed by a future owner if needed.

I haven’t seen his setup yet but I was thinking the same thing. Myself, I would rather leave all but the galley sink feeding into the grey water tank (unless it takes up too much room) and plumb the galley sink to be a direct overboard discharge. I have something like 11 through hulls and wish Sea Ray had combined some of the discharges.

Definitely too many overboard discharges on our boats Ken
