Looks like it's going to rain today.

So I'm interested in your little Dinghy Mike. What kind is it?

Looks like a good trip.

Mike, when I left Greenport this morning it looked like rain was heading towards you, did you get wet? Also we passed a 6 Navy ship convoy, did it settle in at Greenport?

I saw Aeronauticals boat upon arrival in Block, dingied over to him and had a beer and chatted. Mark is a nice guy.

the rain went just north of us, sunny all day but a little windy.
We were pigging out a claudios when the navy ships arrived. They docked right on the pier between claudios and Mitchell's. We walked over to watch them dock. Got pics.

I'm tracking some big storms on my iPhone radar program, I think you are going to get clobbered in the middle of the night. We are enjoying quite the lighting storm just to our south. There's a massive cell in NJ that we hope stays to the south tomorrow. I've got my tide table for plum gut, don't want to make that mistake again.

ummm correction. We are getting clobbered right now.

Dude we were clobbered last night and into morning, good luck Mike and Rick on your trips home.

And thanks Jim, without your site this gathering would not have been possible. Thanks for the Burgee!

Dave,

Sorry I could not join you in Greenport....was away for 10 days with some preplanned destinations (Block, Newport, Watch Hill).

Will be in Montauk this coming weekend a the Montauk Yacht Club.

No problem Dave. Those Navy boats look like the YP boats that are from Annapolis. I guess they are on a summer training cruise.
