what has trump with corona to do ?

trump can be blamed how he handles it but he surely did not imagined the virus , nor did the entire world .

and of course media reports the damage and not the undamaged things after a storm , whats wrong with this ?

aero, one must first understand just who the media is. They are no longer the 4th estate, like a fourth branch of government looking out for the people. The newspapers have been either shut down or gobbled up by corporate conglomerates. (Think Washington Post owned by Bezos of Amazon fame.) The TV news is owned by conglomerates.

All these conglomerates want unfettered access to the world markets. They want no borders or limits. Many of them now are trying to curry favor with China and oppose the Presidents plans to make America more self sufficient. The Chinese have invested in many of these conglomerates and pressure them to do their bidding.

Take the immigration issue, we have been in a period where the Republicans were bringing in cheap labor for the Koch brothers while Democrats brought in voters for themselves.

Social media, the media, and education are being used by the powerful, (think Soros and Koch) to kill of the idea of American exceptionalism, individualism, and critical thinking skills. Those things are not congruent with followers. They do not want the US to be better.
 
So what about all the medical personnel who have access first hand to the statistics? Non-media hyped that is... Just fake news there too?

What type of data? Likely anecdotal. Without a full accounting they are just anecdotal. Heck the numbers that scientists really need do not even exist.
 
Infection rates, hot spots, how/why folks are getting infected, advances in the fight against COVID, etc?

Yes. Fake. Drama. Snowflakes. My wife works in a hospital. I work in hospitals across the country and have been in ICU's months March thru last time was 2 weeks ago in Orlando Fl.

The ICU was almost empty. In March, at the height of the panic, I was in two ER's in Chicago and in one PICU, empty!

The ER's had cots lining the walls of the hallways....nobody was there.

I know what I see with my own two eyes. I speak with doctors off the record.

This is a friggin money grab.

Just for fun, check out the price of a single dose of Remdesivir, then compare that price to the price of a single dose of hydroxychloroquine!!!!!! There's your truth.
 
Well my wife works in the Dallas hospitals... Much before COVID was even on the radar. They are currently overloaded and struggling to find beds. How do you explain the disparity?

Maybe by mail order from Canada. We're seeing $3k-$4.5k for Reme vs $6.00 via GoodRx to $165 full retail for Hydro. Wonder who's campaign the big pharma co's are contributing to?

I suppose some hospitals get more activity than others. This from the Texas Covid dashboard. I added up beds for areas, C,D,E,F,G,L,M = 21,217. Covid patients currently in hospital in those areas = 2,212.
