Great Lakes Canvas Replacement

Just ordered new Tonneau cover. They were real busy today - I would guess alot of snow damage over winter in our area being discovered - that was how mine was damaged after seven seasons. Also ordered snap tool.

After months of disappointment from the local canvas guys and not getting any responses from them I found Great Lakes

Same here, just requested a quote today. I assume that yours came with the same canvas as mine, I also specified the three hatch covers, haven't heard anyone mentioning them... keep us updated.

Great lakes made the hatch covers for mine and they are a real PITA to get on. Even in warm weather. they work well once you wrestle them on. I only use them during the winter as I am in a covered slip and no direct sunlight comes through during the summer.

Anyone ever order replacement bimini and sunshade canvas from Great Lakes for your SeaRay. I am needing to replace this top original 2001 310DA canvas and would like to use them as they were the original manufacturer. I am particularily interested to find out how well the canvas fit and if there were any problems installing the zipper valances and snaps that they indicate are shipped separate from the canvas. Also, as my isinglass side and front curtins are in excellent shape I am hoping they will just zip to the new canvas.

I realize I could just call Great Lakes Canvas direct, but knowing how well this Forum responds to most user issues I would like to hear of some direct experiences from SeaRay owners.

Found out today that they DON'T make a bimini top for my boat
I sent them a picture of the top i want...

QUOTE:
The back top in the picture that is folded up we do not make that for your boat.
Thanks

Just a short followup to my original post. I received the bimini, sunshade canvas and the zipper valances last Fall. Unwrapped the boat a couple of weeks ago and left the mooring cover on until last weekend. It was sunny on Saturday so I tackled the job of putting the new canvas on. Fit like a glove.....no problems at all except had to stretch a bit more when the sun heated up the canvas. Used my existing isinglass panels as they were in excellent shape. I was very happy with the fit. Great Lakes Canvas is great to deal with. I now have to finish putting in the arch snaps as I have both snaps and zippers on both of the tops. Extremely satisified. My 2001 310DA looks like new.

Try again, I spoke to Brandi Stewart and she was very helpful. I believe Great Lakes makes all SeaRay canvas. I'm pretty sure the 2001 and 2002 310DA is the same. If you have the tag that is on the underside of your existing canvas, the number will help them. I had cut my tags off many years ago, but they were still able to supply the correct canvas with a description of my boat model and year.

Good Luck.

We may be talking about a different shade...what i want is not a replacement, but a new addition....
all it is is a top piece of canvas with 4 poles attached to the aft section of the boat with screws port and starboard sides...very simple looking

maybe they make that only for smaller boats ??.i have the arch canvas aft and forward already....
