Anybody measure the frozen precipitation yet? We blew through a 4 1/2' drift going to a carbon monoxide call at 4 this morning - got out of the rig in 3' drifts. Cause of CO - snow drift blocking the PVC high efficiency furnace inlet and exhaust pipes coming out on the side of the house. If you have a side exhausted furnace check for snow drifts restricting air flow in/out.

I just cleared my driveway, 2 foot base with 3 to 4 foot drifts. Poor snow blower was in over it's head. (literally) I had to use it to dig a snow cave, and then knock it down, in order to clear the drive. Our street hasn't been plowed yet, so I'll have a five foot wall of chunks to clear after he goes by. And of course, it's started snowing like hell again.

I just got done polwing for 3 hours witha Kubota Farm Tractor...Well Mini Tractor...Is what they call it. Damn I had to walk through 4 foot drifts. just to get to the tractor... in the barn... This is crasy, Wheres the soft water. I'm over it Now..

It finally stopped snowing here. Guesstimate of 22+" total - the lake effect that we got late this morning through this afternoon added about 7" to that. I hate when the weather forecasters are correct when it deals with BAD weather. They never get it right when they predict 85 degrees and no rain for the weekend. Been busy running calls and playing in snow drifts. Now for the sub-zero temps.................

That is a great quote! Here I am beginning to sweat that winter is almost over and I haven't come close to completing all of my "winter projects" yet. I don't want to wish that winter would last longer, but....I need to get this stuff done. :smt001

Motored back home to plow mine, neighbors and ex's driveways
(Nice guy that I am!)
Nothing but 3-4 ft drifts

Wednesday Afternoon 1:30pm
Back to same Commercial Building to plow some more

Wednesday Evening 6pm
Parked Suburban for the evening
Need to replace power steering pump and seals for plow tomorrow

Need a beer and a burger!!!

Thursday Morning 7am

Yes I am close to you Brian 59. Just over the ditch!! The media played the weather once again. That wasn't a storm, just a bit of snow around 10 cm. Or for you about 3 inches.

Chicago got hit hard!!! OVER 2 ft overnight.
