Background:
I have a 1978 SRV200 that has been in the family since new. It has seen 3 generations of boating fun and I now want to use it to teach the 4th generation to water ski. I have spent the winter months getting the OMC in excellent condition (yes, I know, wish it was a Merc) and just had it out on the lake Saturday to test it. Everything ran better than I remember it working working for over 30 years. It helps that among other things, it has an electronic point conversion, a new electric fuel pump and a fresh rebuilt holly 4 barrel carb. Even the outdrive tilt worked as it should. Still have the control cables to replace and converting the alternator to a one-wire as it is still the original.

Now that the mechanical side is finished, I am focusing on the softer items and updating the electronics and gauges. Decided to do a full gauge replacement after finding most of them are inaccurate beyond usefulness. Am adding an in-dash GX1700 Standard Horizons radio and a 2" depth gauge sounder. This clears the way to have just a mechanical compass and a chart plotter on top of the dash.

Help Needed:
1. With lots of looking, I have been able to replace everything with the new equivalent, except need some help/advise on two items. The first is the camper top slide track sliders. The upper track is at a 45 angle and used a slider with 2 rollers to make the transition at the angle. The lower track uses more traditional sliders. They were made by Great Lakes. Is there any way to have a slide track make a 45 angle turn now? Can't seem to find this.

2. This boat has the original hatch cover that was wood with some kind of laminated finish. Any suggestions on how to modernize this?

Your help is appreciated and my grand kids are counting on you!
