Fantastic day to be on the water again! Had a light chop with lots of Sun! Went out to Pine Key, but it was packed. Guess everyone had the same idea, so we just anchored off shore and floated in the tubes. All the work I put into the boat is paying off. She ran great with no issues. Didn't break down, hit anyone, or run aground!

Now back to cleaning and waxing!

Looks like everyone had a great day on the water. I like the lines on your boat. I'm much more of a traditionalist in the styles I like rather than the new designs with all the sweeps and swoops.

Last year I thought this old boat had me over budget. But after pricing a newer 215 Express Cruiser I see I'm still way under budget. LOL And yes, the older boats have quite a bit more color and wood in the mix. Hopefully this winter I can get the seats redone. I think I'll be keeping her for awhile!

The Bimini top I have is old and blue and is kind of big for the boat. I'd like to get a smaller white one that attaches where the factory top attaches. That way I can store it in the compartment behind the back seat just behind the motor.

I think the 80's 210 was one of searays best, my dad had an 84 210, like yours back in the day, loved that boat.

We got out Sunday too for a day cruise. Saw some Gray whales, but they we're close enough for pictures.
It's good to see other's trips. Thanks for sharing.

It was a great relaxing day. Normally I haul but, but with the light chop I kept it under 25 mph and even idled all the way back in taking my time to enjoy the ride. Probably the most relaxing time we had in awhile.

Probably might be a few weeks before we go back out. But that's fine with me. It gives me more time to tweak and clean the boat. It's really coming a long.

Looks like a blast, I can't wait for the water to be warm enough to float in here in NY

Pleased you had a good day out:)

Not sure how marine upholstery goes in FL, but I took my seats in in the off season to a quality shop and they quoted $1800 or so to recover. I said never mind but they said leave them and they would take a closer look. I told the admiral the first guy to call loses and I did not need them for at least 6 months. So I just put it out of my mind. 3 months later they called on December 21st and asked if I still was interested in having them done. I said not at $1800. They said they would have them done in a week or so at $800. I said do it!

I got a guy a few blocks away that does upholstery. We have kinda bonded as he was in the Marines too and smokes cigars as well. Hopefully he will do me right!

I'm hoping to wait till winter but my wife wants them done sooner. I told her it might take some time and I don't want to loose too many weekends on the water.

Paulie that bimini top that you have, if you don't use it would you want to sell it? Do you think it would fit my boat?

Not sure what I'm going to do there yet. It is really wide, probably made for a pontoon. I've been looking on eBay and they are pretty cheap there. Just not sure when I'm going to replace mine.
