grass clippings

No need to ever bag if you have a quality mulching mower. Think of it like this: you raised a crop, grass, and you can either compost it back into the soil (what mulching does) or remove it (harvest, even if you throw is away) and replenish with fertilizers you purchase. Just mulch it in. If the cut grass gets to long and can be seen on top, just run your mulching mower over it again to cut it small enough to quickly compost. Good luck,

MM

Mike,
Doesn't the mulched grass turn brown after the mulching and in time give the lawn a brown look??

I bag the clippings
If I left the clippings I'd need a square baler.....
I hate mowing

Not if your mulcher is is doing what it should or you don't let your grass get too high where the mulcher leaves pile of clippings.

hahaha!! That would be me if I had neighbors.

I cut mine every other time it needs it. i.e. I get home and say, "Damn I need to mow my grass." Then I wait a week. Cuts down on fuel costs so I'm not being lazy. Just being green.

The Admiral, after I read this to her, said that's you with the exception you might get the front this time the back next but never all at one time. I tried to explain the going green as we have 1.5 acres to bail, I mean mow, but she just doesn't buy it for some reason.
