Grab Bar

I am in need of replacing my grab bar for the entryway door. I have searched high and low and cannot find it anywhere. I own a 1999 Sundancer 270. The manufacturing part number is 1072172. Its about 9.5 inches in length. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

A good full service marina should be able to make one of these easily. They usually have a stock of junk bow rails of various sizes from boats that have been damaged and can cut a piece of the proper length, bend it and install fastening hardware inside the tube. You are unlikely to find this specific part in an inventory bin as it is too unique to stock.

Like @sbw1 said… repair or fabricate a new one …. It’s a simple bend for any manual tube bender
You might also try a canvas place and ask for their fabricator if not done in house

Take the one you have and get a new stud welded in.

One other important thing. Is it possible to remove the handle without having to remove the door or helm ?
I am hoping I can unscrew the back of the door and just be able to reach inside and unscrew the handle.
Thoughts ?
