I have all original electronics equipment on my 98 330ec. It is equipped with radar tri data gps and autopilot also aftermRket and a little newer plotter and depth finder. Now about 2 weeks ago I needed to call in for a tow. I gave them my gps coordinates and gave them the numbers right off the gps. They were about 1mile off. I then gave them the numbers off my plotter and they were dead on. My question is can this be recalibrated somehow and if so how? When I start up the system it also reads sensor malfunction? But doesnt say what sensor is bad.. also my rudder indicator is about 7 degrees off I have to keep the indicator on the autopilot screen at 7degrees to port to run striaght. How and is there a way to recalibrate that? I forgot the model numbers on my equipment but its all ratheon. Any ideas. Tri data seems fine. About 5inches different from the updates depth finder and the radar works good. I will update the model numbers tomorow

Not sure about the GPS, but your rudder indicator has a section in the menu for rudder settings that will take care of these minor adjustments. There is a specific procedure required to get to this screen. Do you have the owner's manual??

Those XX radars have a long useful life. If you have something in the generation of a 398 GPS/Loran receiver, its life is over. Satellites have changed and there aren't updates for it, and it wasn't that great even in its day. If you have Raypilot 650 and don't have the manuals for calibration, you can find them online in PDF format.

Ahh crap ok will work on the auto pilot rudder indicator. As for the gps I guees im gunna have to look into a new one
