Looking to put in new system for the 38 DA this winter

I put in a new system (Raymarine Axiom) 2 years ago in my 33 da then sold it and was looking at was new out there

The last one had the radar dome capability for wireless to the system ( I like the option of removing and storing the radar sweep). I am also interested in drone capabilities

Suggestions ????

My two cents....your boat is too big for a dome. You should have an array style scanner...a four footer....just for aesthetics.

All of you people and your electronics upgrades. It's hard to keep up around here

I have no interest in using the boat for fishing so my main consideration was to go to the best Garmin for use with radar. That being said I purchased a:
· Garmin GPSMAP 7212
· Garmin GMR 24 xHD
· Garmin GSD 24 (the black box I believe you called it)
· thru-hull transducer (B75M).

Very happy with the arrangement although ironically I use the sonar far more than the radar. Not for fishing mind you, but to avoid dropping my anchor among all the trees at the bottom of Lake Lanier. Trust me, you don't want to fish for bloody big branches.
