Last evening my wife came to the boat and instead of putting the $400 Maserati Key fob in a pocket she had it in her hand along the with a carabiner with the dock gate electronic fob. She pulled the gate open with her empty hand and grabbed the railing with the hand holding both fobs. Guess which one went in the drink? Not the $25 gate fob.
Figured that it was gone for good but at low tide this morning I could see it in three feet of water. I went wading and 20 minutes of grid searching with my finger tips, I came up with it. Son of a gun if it didn’t work just fine after 16 hours submerged. I’ll dis assemble it when I get home and rinse in fresh water and dry with alcohol.

As luck had it, I had the spare for the Masi in my truck in case I did not find it.
Happy end to an otherwise relaxing weekend on the boat.

Maserati has a boat. They must have integrated that technology into your fob. ;)

My buddy has a new Maserati two seater with the Ferrari engine…. When he first bought it he took his neighbor for a ride and hit a pot hole….a small pot hole …bent the rim …new rim and new tire was $3k…. Expensive cars

Yeah, tell me about it. Annual service at 40,000 miles was quoted at flat rate of two grand. Did it myself for under $200 in parts.
