Been through Napp's Narrows multiple times but never stayed over. Looking at doing a night there this summer, probably on the way to another destination. Looks like a nice spot for a quiet sunset and overnight. What marina should we stay at?

... head over to Oxford for a couple nights, quiet, quaint, even St Mikes not as original as Oxford.

Where you you stay in Oxford? Doesn't look like much more then a few boat yards.

There's a Safe Harbor marina there that was recently redone (over the past year). Haven't been there since the remodel, but I suspect it's nice. Look them up!

I saw that one (and I am safe harbor so it would be free), on Bachelor's point. Also saw Brewers, looks like they have a pool. But didn't see any restaurants or pub's close by. I mean grilling on the boat is always nice as well and the bar is always open there.

Edit: Safe Harbor look pretty nice - there is a pool that over looks the river.

If you are looking fancy i think Safe Harbor is real nice but i think its a hike to town (on iphone now so not easy to multi task lookup). We like Campbells Town Creek cause close to town, but we are more boatyard people. Like to experience the old bay scenes.
Campbells actually builds boats like the old days, would prefer to watch them do that than hang out at pool / restaurant.

Oxford is ‘different’. Thats why we love it. Not much to keep you entertained but its about as close to old bay experience without traveling another 2 - 3 hours to Tangiers.
The locals are amazing to talk to. Lots of history there.

Safe Harbour Oxford since the rebuilding is very nice. The Robert Morris Tavern is the oldest tavern in the USA. Robert Morris was George Washington’s finance guy. Great place to eat, about a mile walk along the water. A few shops and Brewers boat yard where some old wooden boats are restored is interesting. Nice place for a stop, beware, the price of diesel is easily the most expensive around.

Campbell's Bachelor Point is very nice and has added two floating piers. It has a nice pool and very clean boatyard. Tom and Susan are great people. 38 Latitude Bistro is the best restaurant in Oxford. If you call them they will pick you up and drop you off at your boat
