Good luck to all those with teams still in the playoffs

Speaking of the Giants fiasco, what's with that penalty on that kickoff where you can't block/hit a guy out of bounds? If that's the case, the kicker should kick to a corner and the entire kicking team should run down the sidelines out of bounds to the ball....no one could block them.

I did think that was strange Dom. But, no more peculiar than the refs allowing that loudmouth Coughlin to talk them into picking up the flag on what was clearly a pass interference call. Had they NOT called it... OK, but they DID call it, and it WAS interference (admittedly borderline)... so why pick up the flag? It had no impact on the outcome of the game, but I was pissed at the time.

And Greg, you are right... the top three defenses (statistically) are left in the final four. And I'm not knocking Pittsburgh and Baltimore, they have great defenses, but the Eagles D needs to be mentioned in the same sentence.

Agreed, and I did not even know their D was that good until CBS showed a stat on it during the Steelers game last night.

if you go out of bounds on your own I don't think you can come back in and be part of the play.

Run down in a single file on the line and let some one push you out....the rest of the way is clear sailing......

Can't root for a guy that should be in jail for murder, so Go Steelers.

Wes, how could your guys lose to the Cardinals?? The former St. Louis Cardinals have been a disgrace for as long as I can remember - my dad had season tickets. Bill Bidwell does not deserve this good fortune, or Kurt Warner.

+1 but rooting for either is a big fat dookie sandwich

What wrong with Kurt Warner:huh:

So now 3 of the 4 teams have a chance of winning this thing....let's not forget that the cardinals D on Sunday had to play away on the east coast in a stadium that the Panthers have not lost a game in all year and their D caused 6 turnovers. I quess their defense sucks.....huh:huh:

I would like to go on record that as of today I am pretty sure either the Arizonia, Philly, Baltimore, or the Steelers will play and win in the super bowl this year.

That is why they play the game, I think there are several teams (like 4) trying to figure out how they lost this weekend. Then again they are several teams trying to figure out why they are not playing in the playoffs this year and some of these teams are.

And I am going on record stating the Vikings will not be in the Super Bowl this year.

The Steelers are the team to beat. Most NFL teams would love to do what the Steelers have done over the last 35 years. They, unlike alot of teams, don't put up with the crap that some of these players give. People were amazed when they got rid of Plex. The fan base is unreal. Ever watch an away Pittsburgh game? The stands are full of Steeler fans. That said, if the Ravens win Sunday, I hope they win the Superbowl.

As a Ravens fan I have to give you your do. Pittsburg does have some of the best fans in the NFL, and they have always had great teams. The rivalry we have goes back a long way, long before the Ravens became the Ravens, but one thing is for sure… they are always great games. But we have some great fans as well.

We took some lumps handling the Titans so I hope we get healthy quick. If so, it’s going to be a good one.

I know, Pitt is coming into Sunday pretty healthy. Got Parker back and he looked good. Should be a great game. 1st two games were close. Can't wait.

loudmouth Coughlin to talk them into picking up the flag

The guy who threw the flag was 20 yards behind the play. The guy 4 yards away didn't see it as a penalty. Coughlin was annoyed that they didn't communicate. Replays at the stadium are pretty lame so I cant comment on whether or not it was interference, and sitting in the stands freezing my arse off, I didn't have the benefit of any of what Troy or Joe had to say about it, but from section 202 in the mezzanine behind the goal post, I was immediately annoyed that the flag did not come from the closest official. It had no bearing on the game result but flags get picked up all the time when officials talk it over.

Oh and for the record, the Eagle's defense was oppressive. When you can stuff a 4th and an INCH without penetration into the backfield - just a pure STUFF - what can you say? Any given Sunday...
