Just took delivery.....brand new. It's my golf cart. It goes from home to the country club and back.

Made some progress today… was it ever dirty under the panels. Power washer fixed that. Body goes in Thursday for paint.

Thanks, Blue. Unbelievably it's one of the last 911's to be built in that color. Porsche discontinued midnight blue metallic affective with next weeks production run. Of course, with Porsche's custom color program you can still get it for an additional $13,800......plus tax.

More progress today….amazing what you can get done around the house when the boat is put away….

installed the 3” lift and the 22” tires. Also heavier springs in the rear for the two extra passengers… that suspension change is a huge improvement.

couldn’t help but go for a spin. Rides great, no roll….I gained 4 mph with the bigger tires but only 18mph top end. Not happy with it …so need to figure that out.

Are you hitting the top speed governor limiting the upper end of your speed? That is a simple adjustment if that is the case.

That's what I figure. You need to find out how to defeat the governor. My electric tops out at 20 with no governor. I don't think I'd want to get to 25. These things are kind of twitchy and handle about as good as a Radio Flyer.

Don't get mad, but I kinda like when 1/2 of us put our boats away for the winter and we start seeing your projects. It's a nice diversion.

I kinda want a golf cart because so many of them are cool and, well, have motors, but I don't know how I'd use it.

The wheels look great! Is it possible to beef up the brakes too?

I know there is more power there because up a steep hill today it could maintain speed with more revs…. The guy painting it is good friends with an expert….he is going to tell me what to do.
I just want 22-25….. there is no way I am going to get passed by a rental cart when on the island…. That would be humiliating
