I am looking to take a Week long trip this Summer from Grand Haven Michigan to some were in Wisconsin. Thinking about Milwaukee and or Racine. Any other suggestions and were to stay in those places? What all to see?

Thanks
Dan

Milwaukee has more options of things to see than Racine. Summerfest is a blast with many different bands playing. Might have a hard time getting a slip at McKinley though during Summerfest.

I second the suggestion to visit Milwaukee. Baseball, concerts, good marinas are all pluses. Some of us may be interested in your experiences after you fill up your tank with e10 gas. Am I correct that your boat has been run on non e10 since you are a Michigan boater? We never buy fuel in Wisconsin due to the concern with fuel filters becoming clogged with debris scrubbed loose from e10. Maybe I am overly cautious, but would not want to change filters in the middle of Lake Michigan on a rough day. Perhaps this topic should be a new thread?

Reefpoint Marina in Racine, WI is a huge and very nicely run marina, you can walk into town.
Milwaukee is our favorite stop and we like to get slips at the DNR docks, they have electric but no water service. Lots of things within walking distance, if you bring bikes there are nice trails along the lakeshore.

Harbor Centre Marina is nice with lots to do close by.
I had no troubles with the fuel, but beware there are tons of seagulls and they experts at pooping on boats and docks. At Summerfest in Milwaukee they set off sonic blasts for a week to scare the birds away for the air shows.
