Go niners!

Many people in Indy didn't want bitter Baltimore fans in our stadium for the SB.

Many Baltimore fans think that POS stadium is an oversized basketball arena. Ravens losing yesterday saved me about 10K and another trip to that dump.

I'm gonna give him a Mulligan and assume he meant that figuratively.... No one wants to see anyone get hurt....it's a game.

It's just plain wrong to want to see a player get injured.....period.

He’s just a bitter jealous Colts Fan..

I hope PM does go to the Jets, that would be great 2x a year.

(Brady is the anti-Manning, and I don't like him...not even a little)

If by “anti-Manning” you mean he doesn’t do as many commercials, I agree …Payton has some of the funniest commercial.

Lucky for us that the NFL owners disagree with "many Baltimore fans". What year did the the NFL bring the Super Bowl to Baltimore? You may have saved some coin with the loss but the mental health treatment expenses for "we lost the Colts syndome" is huge burden on the region.

Actually I was thinking moral character and community service, but the comerical thing works too.

Moral character.. Really Scott, what’s moral about T-Bagging a female trainer who's trying to do her job??

Personally, I find it laughable the any Raven fan should complain about the Colts coming to Indy after they did they EXACT same thing to Cleveland by stealing the Browns. At the time, the Browns were selling out every game no matter how badly they sucked, can the same be said for the Baltimore Colts?

It is no exageration to say that Colts fans that would go to Batlimore for a game are literally taking their life in their own hands. The things I have heard the Ravens fans have done to families are disgusting. That would never happen in Indy, there may be some ribbing but not profane or violent actions. MM

Really? Please give me a couple examples of things done to families at Ravens games, links would be nice also. Seriously, I have never heard of anything like that and I've been to just about every Ravens home game since day 1 and visit Ravens forums daily. Maybe you are thinkig of Philadelphia.

Also, I probably shouldn't have replied to your other post because I had just gotten home from New England and was feeling a little punchy..........but you did fire the first shot.

Modell was going to lose the team if he didn't move, the fans were not privy to the behind the scenes happenings and kept supporting the team. Irsay on the other hand ran the Colts into the ground and was openly shopping the team around the country, fan support dwindled.

Here is a clip of Bob Irsay you and the other Colt fan may find interesting

Scott,

I have moved on from this, until someone else brought it up.......The Browns were Modell's only sorce of income, he would have gone bankrupt if he didn't do it. Cleveland was without a team for 3 years, but got to keep the Browns name, colors and records. they lost thier team for 3 years, not forever like the Baltimore Colts fans.

We are known for our hospitality which is why we host the NCAA championship every four years. My original comment was not intended to be a dig at you personally, but a sharing of a sentiment of some in my area. Although that is probably a more common thought of older not younger folks, from this area, as the younger fans have not been taught a hatred of the Ravens as younger fans from Baltimore have been taught hatred of the Colts. The folks around here are likely similar to Scott in that 83% either want Eli to win or Brady to lose as opposed to those that want NE to win. The move was nearly 30 years ago. but it still upsets Ravens fans that were not born yet.

The feelings of Colts fans who went to games in Baltimore are first person accounts not media reports I have heard, that said Baltimore was #9 on the list of 10 meanest fanbases: "Baltimore Ravens fans are a notoriously cantankerous bunch. While they're fairly equal opportunity in their hatred of other teams' fans, they do reserve special vitriol for fans of the Indianapolis Colts. Check out this YouTube video of Baltimore Ravens fans heckling Colts fans. The team itself even reserves the right to malign the Colts for their long-ago betrayal of their city in the dark of night. When the Indianapolis Colts visit Baltimore, they appear on the scoreboard as merely "Indy." The name "Colts" doesn't appear anywhere in the stadium.
Bob Irsay and his Mayflower trucks are still reviled like nothing else in the city's history. Baltimore fans still hold a grudge against the current iteration of the Colts, although 1984 was almost 30 years ago and Bob Irsay is long gone.
If that's not mean, I don't know what is."

Here is a video of how Ravens fans treated Colts fans:

Still drinking the cool aid. This is typical hypocrisy from Ravens fans. Admit it, modell moved to get richer than he already was. Just like Irsay. The difference was Cleveland fans did support the team unconditionally unlike the colts by selling out consistently. Thats why we did get a team back. And so it wasnt the lack of support that caused his financial mess. Its was HIS mismanagement like breaking the bank to sign people like Andre (the roof is on fire) Rison. Its no wonder that the packers have never been in that mess and all the other teams that generated less income than the Browns durning that time frame. The Browns were in the top 1/3 of revenue back then. And he was broke?? Because he was an idiot in his old age. Which is precisely why he still needed bought out in Baltimore. I'm sure the politicians were to blame too but in the end Modell is a carpetbagger just like the rest. His only choice wasn't to move. He could've also sold at least a share while staying in Cleveland. BUT he didn't realize how bad he was at managing the team until he moved and even with that deal STILL needed bought out. He didn't do that for Cleveland because he thought he could still get richer on his own. I will curse Modell til he dies.

Therefore I can thoroughly enjoy the Ravens choke and always will! Yay!
