Pretty normal down at Treasure Island in the Spring. I'm sure they'd rather clean that up then find what they did a few years ago (unidentified body of an infant floating in their docks)!
Seems like they could have makeshifted some kind of diverter to keep the "wood" and other junk out of the slips. I am with the North wind approach and maybe giving it a bit of a helping hand if necessary.... Lots of snakes in that stuff I bet !!
The current flows towards those slips carrying snags and debris. The wind will not help not matter how hard it blows . . . at most it would only delay the inevitable.
good thing that is C-dock. Summer and her crew do a great job and am sure that by the time the marina opens up all that debris will be sent down to Red Wing and beyond. the ice on Pepin will keep it in the neighborhood a bit longer.
