Ghost letters

De badged the sorrento. Any info on getting rid of the ghost letters? Or just don't worry about it.

Is the gel coat thicker where the lettering was removed? If so, block sand it then compound with Presta Super Cut, Polish and be amazed!

Most definitely thicker. standing back I kind of like the ghosting. I was thinking maybe paint the letters back on matching my hull color. My reg numbers are painted on and could use a redo as well. I got the plastic badges off I one piece I want to paint them and adhere back on boat. All in due time. Boat is constantly on the market since I have a 2 week old baby as the wife wants a sun deck, she doesn't like the cuddly cabin.

Yep, this is the only way.

Try a local sign shop and sea if they can make up a vinyl decal replacement for you. That's what I did and it looked fantastic.
