Genny runs fine - no output (Westerbeke)

My genny randomly stopped supplying power today while being on the water for 20 or so minutes. It was reading 0 when I went downstairs, but was still running. I flipped the switch on the side of the genny, and reset the breaker inside with no luck - anyone have any ideas?

There is a part called the rectifier that goes bad and will cause no output. Should be DIY and around $30-$40.

Just to follow along......What brand and model generator is it?

First check the main breaker on the generator itself. If that doesn't work, you may be looking at new diodes.

It's a Westerbeke 5k - on the fixed drive models of the 99-03 310DA
