M westerbeke generator was only putting out 23 volts and nothing was working due to the low power output. I had servicce done to this unit and the technician told me that the windings were bad on #7 and #8. He moved wires to #6 and everything worked. Can anyone explain what was wrong and why it works now. Do I need to fix / replace #7 or #8? I am not familiar with any of this. ANy help suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
