last WE I tried to start my genny but it would not turn over.....I also tried to use the switch on the genny to start it but the same thing....so I tried to use the 'emergency start circuit' by having the Admiral hold the rocker switch on the dash down as I tried to start the genny but still nothing....I carry a set of jumper cables in the ER so I connected the jumpers to the house battery bank and the genny battery and the genny would then start so I put in a new genny battery....

so my question is why is the genny battery not part of the 'emergency start' circuit?.....or maybe it is and I have a problem somewhere....

thanks....

I've never seen a SeaRay that the genny has been included...

thanks....well, I guess that makes me feel a little better knowing I don't have a wiring problem somewhere....

I could see where that would be the case... the E-start solenoid is just SPST and to keep the Gen battery isolated, you cant just tap into either of banks 1 or 2.
