My controller to start/stop my Westerbeke Diesel generator has quit working properly. According to Intelletic it is no longer made. Has anyone run into this and determined a solution?

I have not had a failure on the Monoplex however in other issues I was dealing with I ended up going through the entire control wiring and drew up a schematic. My issue was a wire had broken inside of a switch and was creating an intermittent shutdown. Spent weeks trying to find the issue until I pulled on wires and one pulled right out of the switch potting. Regardless this is the schematic of the configuration for a 7.6BTD and that Monoplex arrangement. Keep in mind that the generator is integrated into the boat's fire safety system as you can see in this diagram.
So, all the Monoplex does is execute the fuel priming and pre-heaters for 30 seconds before allowing to start without you holding a preheat switch down. You may have noted that as long as the switch in the control panel is in the on position (OFF-ON-Momentary) you can start the generator using the generator mounted preheat and start switches. It would not be too hard to convert the existing panel switch to OFF - Power - Start then add another momentary switch that you would have to hold for the fuel prime and preheat. Sequence would be put main switch to Power, hold second switch for 30 seconds, after preheat (30 seconds) main switch to Start. When generator starts release the Start and Preheat switches. Note also that by pressing the preheat the low oil pressure switch is bypassed so the engine can start and oil pressure come up. To shut down simple place the main switch to OFF.

Hi folks... I have a 97 SR400 Sedan Bridge... Since I purchased this a few months ago, the only way to shut down the Westerbeke Genset (Monoplex Gen-Set 4) is by opening the hatch and manually pressing the stop switch. I am following the schematic that ttmott posted, but no luck... Any ideas where to get a replacement switch... I am thinking my issues are there.... any assistance is appreciated.

$300 Mistake
See the switch circled in white.... Its a bypass switch, I never even noticed it. Called service, guy showed up, flipped the switch, sent me a bill for $300 to get the remote switch to turn the genset off. Switch didnt appear on any diagrams that I could trace.

Chalk it up to a learning lesson. Figured I'd share to save someone else.
