Gen Runs but doesnt charge or run anything

My generator runs but doesnt power anything such as A/C, Fridge, ETC, several other things not workin...i went out sunday, emptied my head before i anchored out....gen started fine but wouldnt power anyting.... today i noticed my cock pit fridge's light is on but isnt cooling, my outlet's button, and my microwave doent turn on(all of these worked fine prior to going out and gen not workng) and the cabin fridge only works when my left battery solenoid is on......it doesnt turn on with out the solenoid being on even though the shore power is on.....i would assume these problems are related....blown fuse? any sugestons??

You didn't mention the basic things like is the main breaker on the generator ON? Did you shift the power from shore power to generator on the control panel in the cabin? If these two main items are ON do you see the power gauge to the right setting and the green light on the 120AC on the main control panel?

Probably your main breaker as Alex said... It faces aft on the box on leftside of the gennerator as look at it. Just below the start switches... You should see the 120 volts on the meter in your breaker box in cabin...

Also, after rereading what you wrote... Did pull the slide over an throw your gen switch in the breaker box? you are probably on shore power....

You got me confused now. I thought you had a problem with no power while the genny is on, what's the deal with the shore power not being plugged in? It sounds like you're mixing apples and oranges, unless I missed something in what you're trying to explain.
