I'm looking for a few odds & ends for a 1985 260 SeaRay ... Does anyone know of a place in Oz that has older parts ?

Slowly but surely getting there but thingskeep breaking !!!

there is a wealth of knowledge (and parts) in the USA but here n OZ is a little harder to come by.

What parts you looking for? Very likely you'll end up just replacing new for old.

Down here in SA, we've got even less than NSQ, but I've had good luck with online sites. Not as good as being able to hold 'em and size 'em up in your hand then take home, but you get them eventually.

I have found searayman13 on Ebay , they seem to have loads of stuff from the era I want.

Was after the folding hinge base and leg for the bench seat , I still have one and I know pretty much where the other one is but I can't swim that deep to get it back ! ... Anyway these guys have them for 18 usd + postage, has to be a bargin.

Also I am looking for side vent that seems to have gone astray from under the wooden footplate on the starbord side towards the stern of the boat.

And if anyone knows where I can get a new hatch for the anchor chain compartment I'd love to know, or can you get these things made pretty cheaply ?

Basically , I'm trying to fix up my boat as a bit of a hobby, I'm totally mechanically useless so am only doing the cosmetic stuff that I can handle, sanding & varnishing, lights etc so any advice anyone has for a novice is greatly appreciated.
