Gas Prices, Northern Chesapeake

Thought we should report the local gas prices so we can see who is screwing us less.

Long Beach Marina, Frog Mortar Creek accross from Martin Airport: $4.25 for unleaded and I believe $4.50 for diesel.

I heard chesapeake Yachting Center is the cheapest in town but I didn't check them out yet.

The $4.25 is about what they were charging last fall so Long Beach is O.K. in my book.:smt038
 
I got gas today at Goose Harbor and it was $4.15.
 
Price on the street is $4.40. Price at the marina is the same. Diesel is about $5.00.
 
I paid $4.58 a gallon on the water yesterday.
 
Anchor Yacht Basin on the South River was $4.35 on Saturday. Price was $4.10 a day earlier. Needless to say, I should have made time to fill up on Friday.
 
I paid $4.29/gal at Markel's marina in Sparrows Point. :smt009

Yesterday, Gas was $4.09, diesel was $ 4.39 at Anchor Bay on Bear Creek
 
We were at Herrington Harbour this weekend the dock hand told me diesel was $5.09 :wow:. On the way back, went to Anchor Bay East - got it for 4.39!

Hey StressAweigh... What happened at the Red Eye yesterday morning? We were sitting on the boat at the dock and heard the AA County Fire Department and the USCG going on about a car in the water at the Red Eye on the VHF. There was some confusion as to who should respond.

Remind me never to crash a car into the water. I'd be dead before the authorities figured out who should have pulled me out. :huh:

Driver must have seen the price of fuel at the marina and lost control.

We got lucky last weekend, paid $3.79 to fuel up at our home port.marina (Colonial Heights, VA).
 
The last two posts reference lower prices in VA than in MD - we could call that the O'Malley/Busch/Miller adder.

That price at Long Beach didn't last long! It's now 4.91 for midgrade; go to Chesapeake; theirs is a lot cheaper for hi-test!
