Garmin HDMI to TV Issue

Has anyone had trouble or been succesful mirroring their Garmin Display on their TV via HDMI cable? I connected mine today and nothing appears on the TV Screen. I have checked everything I can think of except maybe I didn't use the Garmin HDMI Cable.

Any lessons learned out there?

checked several times, yes.

Got it... never paid attention to the label on the end of the HDMI cable. I used an Active HDMI cable that is direction sensitive. Source / TV side is critical.

We are loving this option. While on the hook and Anchor Alarm set we can easily change the input on the TV to show or location and confirm if we are still inside the Green Circle of Trust...

Nice piece of mind wind the winds are blowing hard and you start to lose your bearing just a bit.

Out of curiosity, is it possible to look at the same data on your phone somehow? I like the idea of looking at that while anchored overnight.

Yes via Active Captain App you can see and control your Garmin MFD.
