Garmin GPSmap 182c?

Are these any good? Outdated? We boat on the Ohio river so not much use for it but it's in the boat so might as well figure out what all it does. Don't have the boat yet so haven't got much of a chance to play around with it but it does turn on and look clear

I’d say both: good and outdated. One came new on my friend’s ‘04 Chap. He sold it to a other friend of mine who used it until just a few years ago. Back then, it was probably one of the most user-friendly devices out there.

Either way I'm leaving it there until it quits working. Not much use for it on the Ohio river but will use it for whatever I can while it is there and no need for a new one and it is built into the helm so it's staying...lol

I bought one new when they came out. Nice unit and worked quite well.
