I can't seem to find any one who has reviewed either of these units or actual real life pictures of them in action. Are they so new that no one has them yet?

Yes it's their latest Charptplotter been out about 9 months, I have been onboard a ship with the 7612xsv and the forward looking PS31 & PS30 Down Vu Panoptix Transducers installed on it. This has to be the most advanced chartplotter transducer setup any manufacturer has ever built. If your interested in one I would find a dealer that knows something about these units and has been factory trained to demonstrate it there are so many options that it can't be explained by a sales person at somewhere like WM without training on them. The ship I was on had been setup for a demo done for the USCG & Homeland Security prior to a large sale to them.
If I ever upgraded this would be my first choice a 76--xsv series Chartplotter with the PS31 Panoptix Transducer they aren't cheap just the PS31 is $1499.99.

Purchased a 7608 from BOE Marine, thanks for the help! I got it in just a few days and will have it installed after the new year. I got the non xsv model.
