Garmin 740s depth finder hookup

Hi, I have a 2005 290slx with factory guages that are hooked up to factory transducer.
I have a garmin 740s that is not hooked up to a transducer.
Is there any way I can hook up the garmin to the same factory transducer so that i can see water depth and have them both
work at the same time

No, the factory unit is a Lowrance and not compatible. AIRMAR makes a compatible transducer for Garmin. Unfortunately you'll need to install which ever type you choose (through hull, transom mount or shoot-through).
