Hi,
I'm "upgrading" my 2000 260DA to a 2000 310DA this week.
I purchased and had installed the 545 into the 260; and the 310 currently has the 182C installed.
I haven't had the chance to really delve into the 182C, so I'm wondering if anyone out there can give me an opinion if I should bring over the 545 to the 310, or is there an upside to leaving the older 182C in place?
Thanks again,

Keith

I'm closing on the 310 Friday; so I'm just going to assume that the newer 545 is a better unit and swap it out.

Wow! Quick responses from the far corners of the States!
Thanks; I'm going to have them swap them out this week.

Trading it in for the 310- don't get me wrong, we loved the 260, but we really wanted more room to sleep out more. Plus our 260 didn't have the vacu-flush head, air conditioning, etc. And we don't trailer, so the size isn't really an issue.

Very Cool. Enjoy.....the 260DA family will miss you.

Post a new thread of your new boat when you get her, and congrats!

One of the really good things about the 545 is the VGA resolution. . .it makes the displays far more legible. Without question, you should transfer the unit.

It ain't cheap, so don't give it away!

If you dont already have the G2 VIsion card for your 545 get it. it's well worth it if your in something other than a lake. I love the Route to feature and the 3D mariners view. I still need to upgrade my radio to get the automatic NMSI # ID of the boats around me to work, but like I said Keep the 545 it's an awesome system.

I'm definitely keeping the 545 - but i'm still having "everybody hates Mac" issues with software (there's a previous thread on this).
I have the Vision card, but the "route to" system hasn't worked yet (i'm usually in an enclode waterway -so that might hinder it).
