Put our 04 340 in the water yesterday and went to turn on the fresh water pump and water started flowing out of the faucet. Went to turn it off and the hot water knob would not twist properly. Sounds and feels like something happened inside the knob as it doesn’t turn properly like the cold water knob. Is it easy to take apart or should I be looking to replace?

Easy to disassemble and repair. Top of knob (silver cap) will screw off then you can remove the plastic rings and remove and clean or replace the cartridge. I believe it is a Grohe faucet.

Thank you. Glad it’s an easy fix!

If you go on the Grohe web site, identify your faucet and then find the cartridge part # they have install instructions there or you can just take the part # to a Lowes, Home depot or plumbing store get a new cartridge and most will have instructions in the box. Otherwise you will have to remove the old cartridge first and then take it with you to match it up.
