I am re-upholstering the entire cabin of a 1988 Sorrent 25, expected 3 year project.
I need to find out how to remove the entire galley, cabinet, and electrical panel. I have removed L-brackets in the refridge compartment but cannot locate how the lower cabinets and countertop are mounted to the port side of cabin. The cabinet above the counter top is mounted to the counter and unable to remove L-brackes until I pull the lower cabinets and counter top away from port wall.
I have the electrical cabinet loose, but it is attached to the upper cabinet above the countertop which inturn mounts to the countertop with L-brackets I cannot access.
Is the counter top fiberglassed to the port hull?
Is the upper cabinet glued or fiberglassed to the countertop?
Any info the get this galley out without damage would be appreciated.
I have provided links to similar boats, it has the same galley setup. As far as I know, it is the same setup for several late 80's early 90's galley's.
