Fwc motors

Hello searay boaters,
i'm wanting to move up to a 1996 or so 330 and wanting to know if there any closed cooling on the engines. I've looked at some and they all have raw water cooling. My present boat is a 1986 27 searay with twin 170's with closed cooling and i like that.

Most do seem to have closed cooling...

Holy crap those engines are close together- make sure to look around the ER to see how serviceable they are.

There are very few with fwc as topnr pointed out most have closed cooling of the block and raw water system to remove the heat.

I have seen one on yachtworld.com. If you do a search there for specifically 33 ft sea ray sundancers I saw only one there. I believe it was in NJ and that would be salt water which would be odd to have that on a salt water boat..

What are your reservations around closed cooling systems?
