Hey, all.

Looking for a good source of fueling locations on the Illinois Waterway south of Peoria and the Upper Mississippi River.

Is there a site or listing of marinas or harbors where fuel is available?

Bringing a boat home in the Spring from Winthrop Hbr and then heading south to Kentucky Lake late summer.

Thanks in advance!

If you stop in Peoria, National Marine has wonderful attributes to include the lowest cost fuel ($3.25 last I saw) WITH ValveTech, plus they have power, water and cable if you decide to spend the night.

I am at the zero mile marker where the Illinois and Mississippi converge. Port Charles is a great place to buy fuel. Grafton Harbor is a great place to overnight. Plenty of places to walk to. Hoppies south of St. Louis. The fuel truck in the Cape Area is no longer selling Gas Only Diesel.

I thought the mile zero was the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi. I am at the UMR mm 282 the Il. river enters the Mississippi about 64 miles down river from me around the 218 mm. Mile 0 is where the the upper Mississippi ends and the lower Mississippi river begins. If I'am wrong please explain it to me.

No your not wrong. He was referring to Mile 0 of the Illinois River.

Thank you for clearing that up, I thought I had missed something. We have only been on the river since last April, I hope to make it down to that area next year if the river is close to normal. Thanks again
