fuel tax refund

I'm sure many of you do this already. Many states allow a partial or full reimbursement for fuel used in off highway vehicles such as your boat, quad, tractor, Etc. I just figured mine out and for just the gas I purchased at PW marina my refund is $52.85. Not a lot but its something. Here's more info.www.americanboating.org/fueltax.asp

WA is one of the states that refunds this tax. People who buy their gas/diesel at street-side gas stations have paid it and some marinas charge it also.

I finished filling out the Washington state road use tax refund noticed the calculation for several years ago was almost double the .11 cents it is now. Gave the state a call a person actually answered on the 2nd ring (real surprise) he tried to explain how they use the average price for an area then subtract something from something that's where I lost his logic at 2.50 a gallon you would get back ( I think ) .22 cents. This is where I completely lost their way of calculating it if gas averaged this half of the year is $5.04 the refund amount would be Zero at $4.98 it would be .01 cent. So the more the average price per gallon is the less of a refund we get back. I'm going to re-read there website now that I can without getting to p'ode I wish we had used more than 606 gallons if gas does go up this summer it's really going to hurt.

Nh also reimburses the overland tax weber.18 cents per gallon back just got my $188.00 check back for last season that's my first 40 something gallons this year fuel is already $4.17 per gallon at my marina.
