Any idea on how to get gas stains out of gel coat? My tanks were full and I must have had some expansion and fuel came out of my vents. I did not realize until after the gel was stained. I tried acetone, compound, cleaner, and just about everything else with no luck. Any suggestions?

HOw about some Miratic Acid (pool acid)?? Srpay it on, let it sit 2 minutes and brush it off, then rinse. I have had good luck with this on alot of things??

I tried a product called Hull On-Off that has acid and that did not work either. I have had good luck with that product with the water stains from the A/C units.

Gotta be careful. i always run 5 -10 gallons out of the tanks when I filled them. Stains and hull tape dissolving are not fun ..
