Can someone tell me where to find the port side (and aft) fuel sending units on a 1989 340 Sundancer?

Yes, it does have saddle tanks, I only had a chance to look this past weekend and it appears the sending unit on the port side is under the lowest step down into the cabin. I can't be sure at this time since I didn't have time to take it out but it appears to be a hex head bolt with 3 wires coming out of it Red, Green, and Blue???
That's why I told him to look for the pink wire. On my 89 340EC there are 2 wires, a PINK which is the resistor wire and a BLACK which is the ground wire. Ground on mine goes to the tank bolts. Like I said in my last post, Look for the PINK wire!!But he's looking for the FUEL tank sender! Usually that's a two wire system, black and black on my tanks (I think, but I wouldn't swear by it!).
Not if it's a BAJA! Pink and Teal all over the place!:wow:Pink? PINK? That's is such a wrong color for a boat!
Mark, Have you downloaded the owners manual yet? Or do you already have it? There is a picture of the bilge in there that shows you where things are supposed to be. Our boats use the same manual, and so far I can tell you that the manual isn't always right. Often it's plain misleading, but the fuel tanks are located where they are shown for my boat. Yours should be in an "L" formation near the ER bulkhead I believe. Sorry, I'm of no more help on this one. This is a new boat to me and I was told it had saddle tanks but apparently it does not. It is definitely an 89 340 Sundancer. I will pull out the mid cabin mattres and pull up the panels under the mattress this weekend to try again.
Thanks for all the feedback everyone!
