As of late I seem to notice my port engine has developed a distinct whining noise as it is running. I thought it might be the alternator but when I listened to the engine with a stethoscope ,the alternator was quiet but the cool fuel unit seemed to be emitting the whine. The engine is missing very slightly also and I'm thinking the fuel pump might be starting to develope issues.Has anyone ever had this happen and/or is this a fuel pump on it's way out? Thanks
