Fuel Injection not engaged

7.4L Mercruiser MPI. When I turn the key I’m not getting the “beep, beep” followed by the sound of the initial fuel injection. Batteries are good and charged and the starter is just running trying to engage....but it seems clear no fuel is being delivered. Any thoughts on how to start troubleshooting this? We were just out last weekend, ugh!

Could be the fuel pump relay is shot.

Or the switch at the helm, or the harness, or the connectors, or............
a voltmeter is your friend. See where it's not present.

I honestly can't remember if the warning horn system is activated/deactivated by the kill switch, but the rest of it could be explained by the kill switch being flipped to "off".
