Fuel flow monitor

I would like to add fuel flow monitoring to my Garmin 4000 series chartplotter but the Garmin fuel flow sensor is for 3/8" fuel line. Does anyone know of a sensor for 1/2" fuel line that would work with the Garmin?

Yes I did. The Garmin units are for 3/8" fuel line and the ones on my boat are 1/2". Our mechanic strongly warned against restricting the 1/2" line to 3/8"

I'm not saying you don't, but I would take a close look at the I/D of the fuel line. Garmin's GFS 10 has 3/8" barbed ends and I would think(again just wondering here) if your 1/2" fuel supply has a 3/8" I/D. The GFS 10 has a capability of up to 50 gallons/hr.

The same thought crossed my mind but my mechanic seemed to be pretty sure . . . maybe I'll press him a little on it.
