Fuel flow for Garmin 441s?

Yes, kinda, sorta, no not really ;-)

It connects via a CANet package (sold seperatly) unless you already have an nmea2000 network setup (which i don't think the 441s supports)

I set mine up with the optional CANet package and after some frustrating color matching experiments got it working. Now I wont run without it - like to know how I can stretch my milaege as far as possible.

What is a CANet package? 441s is compatible with NEMA2000, but what does that involve?
 
yeah, it's even a little more than you need, because the 10 meter backbone cable is much longer than necessary. The GFS 10 kit also includes a T connector and some 3M wire junctions, but you'll likely appreciate having some "piggyback" terminals to connect the power and ignition leads.

You'll also want to ensure that your 441 is running the latest software. Some of the Garmin docs claim that the GFS 10 comes with a software upgrade SD card, but it doesn't. (not that it's a big deal - they're cheap)

I believe to connect the 441 to the GFS10 you need their CANnet kit.
 
Mike, I just connected my 535s to a GFS 10 via a CANet kit. DO NOT use the supplied 3M connectors, use heat shrink insulated butt splices. Very easy install and a NICE setup!
 
Since the 441 DOES support NMEA2k, I would recommend using it unless you're 100% sure that you will never add any NM2K devices in the future. (and you can get much better pricing on the parts at BOE than directly from Garmin)
